A New Ritual & An Invitation To Join Me

Hiya!

You know what’s a drag? When you get caught up in the hustle-n-bustle of life and forget to say “thanks” for something someone does for you.

Well, today is your new day, so let’s make sure we’re intentional about noticing those things that make life easier for people around us—and then letting them know how much we appreciate them!

I’ve gotta be honest: I’m guilty of this too. So many times I’ve been out running errands and thought “man, this would have been easier if they’d just put a basket over here.” Or “it would have been nice if they had put more than one cashier on at a time.” But did I ever stop to think about saying something? No! Instead, I just kept my head down and kept moving forward until it was time to go home again.

Let’s face it. We’re all busy, and don’t always have time to take care of ourselves. Between taking care of a busy family, working a full-time job, and going to those ever-so-important events (Pre-teen son’s brand new episodes or the latest True Crime binge), you barely have time to eat.

And that’s not good enough for me anymore. Today is about making sure I’m taking care of myself first—which means recognizing when someone does something nice so that I can let them know how much it means to me!
